To assist in compliance with federal and state law regarding forklift operations, Axiom Management Inc. has developed the forklift certification course. Through implementation of the certification program in conjunction with existing clients' safety procedures/programs and the use of the operators handbooks, it is anticipated that accidents involving all types of forklifts at the facility can be reduced.

     OSHA regulations clearly state that “only trained and authorized operators shall be permitted to operate a powered industrial truck. Methods shall be devised to train operators in the safe operation of powered industrial lifts.” There is a direct correlation between safe operations and improved productivity. Everyone benefits from a safe operator that is in control of his/her equipment.

     The forklift certification course consists of an instructional class, video tape and manual, and covers a wide variety of material designed to increase the operator’s knowledge in many areas of forklift operation.
